Los Angeles Erupts in Jubilation as Los Angeles Dodgers Secure Second World Series Victory
Los Angeles witnessed citywide celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a thrilling seven-match World Series championship. Supporters across the globe united with Angelenos in celebration, marking the first time in 25 years that a franchise has secured consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Enormous Turnout
Los Angeles area celebrations featured a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Online footage depict thousands of Los Angeles residents packing downtown streets, many carrying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The squad was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the crowds, raising the championship trophy high.

The championship acted as a bright spot in what has been a challenging year for Los Angeles. An approximate 225,000 people attended to the Dodgers’ victory parade last year, and according to team member Freddie Freeman, supporters this year demonstrated as much if not more support.
“It seems it’s nearly twice from last year,” he remarked. “These fans are crazy. It’s truly amazing to be a part of this.”
